Brother James Barbee is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who grew up in the Foothills of East Tennessee.
He found inspiration in the songs and tales of murder, love, and a loss of communion with God that were synonymous with this region. He now does his best to add a small chapter to this tradition.
He’s also a visual artist, whose paintings are as haunting as his music.
