The Heartworm Highway Vol.3 - Nashville

In 2016 a near fatal accident almost destroyed BJ Barbee’s mortal vessel. Being left physically broken allowed him time to revisit songs he had written years before while also compiling new material written from past memories and the fever dreams of the very present future.

‘The Heartworm Highway’ naturally played out as chapters, each taking on characteristics of the place in which it was recorded and the producer who helped envision its tone and quality.

Vol. 3 took place in Nashville, TN with Christopher Lord Byrd at What/Where Studios.
Vol. 2 in Driftwood, TX with Will Sargent at Sargent Sound Studios. (Not yet released.)
Vol. 1 in Los Angeles, CA with Peter Barbee of Among Savages. (Not yet released.)
